Nutcracker

I took MM to see the Nutcracker at Comerica Theater the other day, her first real date.  When we went inside she kept asking when the movie was going to start.  She got a little bored toward the end but enjoyed it overall, I think.  Her favorite part were some of the animals in the second act.

IC Procession Downtown

For the feast and holy day, there's a procession from Immaculate Conception Parish to the Basilica in downtown Phoenix.  We rode our bikes to check it out and really enjoyed it.

Coming Home from Okla.

We had a nice flight home, especially with MM sleeping in my lap and JoJo playing quietly in her aisle seat.  Bobbins took an aisle seat next to two older ladies and chatted it up.

We didn't have a ride home so took the light rail (which the girls love) to Central, then I ran home to get the Sequoyah and pick up the girls and luggage.

RSU Tour - Okla

Before we left Saturday, Becky gave us a tour of her school, Rogers St. Univ. (also Dallas's alma mater).

T-giving Soccer - Okla

We have a tradition of some sporting activity after dinner on Thanksgiving.  Usually not a problem in Arizona, but luckily the weather in Okla. was accommodating this year.  For the first time we played soccer instead of kickball or football.  Becky's team prevailed over Katie's, 5-2.

 

  

 

 

 

 

Bobbins may have been dressed more for baseball, but she tore it up at there, scoring one goal and nearly netting a second.

T-giving Dinner - Okla

We had quite a Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Mel's.  Bobbins did her part beforehand, making home-made pie crusts with Mavis.

 

 

 

Managed to get a pretty good family photo after the feast.
