Shooting at Ben Avery

AZ Game & Fish had a shooting event at the Ben Avery range so Bobbins took the kids for something to do. Aunt Katie joined them.

New Shade Cover for the Chickens

Bobbins wanted a new shade cover for the chickens, so the boys went to Home Depot to pick up some 2x4s.

It was pretty bare and open by their coop before.





But now they're shielded more from the sun. Bobbins planted a vine next to the structure in hopes that it'll grown and be a natural block of the sun.

The boys also are somewhat helpful when it comes to the upkeep of the birds, although it usually falls to me to clean the coop and Bobbins to do the bigger maintenance.

One of our mentor couples in Marriage Encounter, Jim & Elaine, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on 17 March. What an achievement! That's Elaine in the dress with Mary, Bobbins, and Cori feting her with kisses.

They went undefeated.

King Cake

Bobbins makes a king cake, with a baby Jesus in it, for Mardi Gras, and this year Edward got it. He was more excited to eat cake than to get Jesus, while TF was too exhausted to eat his piece.
