New Master Bedroom Takes Form

First Day of School

Owen started kindergarten! The girls started first. Owen's first actual day was Tuesday. They space the kindergarteners out the first week.

His first Friday, wearing his red tie.



He's all smiles here, but it only took a couple weeks before he started complaining about having to get up so early.

He was really tired every day, of course. He'd fall asleep every time on the ride home.

His favorite part of school is recess and playing soccer and other games with all the kids.

Visit from Marco

Marco was an exchange student from Italy who was here when Gaia was. He came back for a short visit this summer and stopped by our house to say hello.

Visiting Mark

Since Mark & crew couldn't make it our way (Jess just had Ruby), we went their way. On the way, I tried the new Impossible meat from Del Taco, and it was pretty good. I got gas at Costco and bought us dinner, as I always do at Mark's.

Up Mt. San Jacinto

As we did in 2015, we took the tram up Mt. San Jacinto, hiked the mile loop at the top, had dinner.
