Yard Progress Pt. 3

While I was gone all day one Sat., the workers put in all the pavers in one day! Impressive. I'm most excited about the walkway on the side yard. I hated walking on the rock over there before.

Block Arrival

For the reno, we're putting in A LOT of pavers, and they all arrived one afternoon last week. The boys checked them out.

Plumbing the Leveler with Uncle Paul

As part of our pool reno, Paul plumbed a line to the leveler so we don't have to use our hose to fill the pool. Booch and JoJo helped him. Moose helped Papa rake the dirt over the pipe.

 

ASU Basketball Game

For Booch's birthday I also took him to an ASU basketball game. He had enjoyed watching the girls' school play, and I hadn't been out there in a while, so we took Coach along for an afternoon contest against Washington St. Unfortunately, like in football last fall, the Cougars prevailed. We actually led at halftime but went cold in the second half. Booch enjoyed seeing Sparky as much as the game but was good the whole time. Even though the parking was $7, my ticket was only $10 (and Booch was free), so it was affordable fun.

Booch's Birthday Party

MM and Booch have gotten the best birthdays. This year, Booch got a baseball themed (or D-backs themed; in his mind, the two are the same) party, expertly thrown together by Bobbins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whose birthday is it? :-)  Uncle Jack and Shellie actually bought those blocks for him. The piano was a big hit with all the kids, and Booch loved the used work boots I got for him, even though they're clownisly big on him now.

Breaking into 3

Continuing tradition, Booch 'broke' into 3 the morning of his birthday. Actually, he crawled out to eat breakfast and watch cartoons with his sisters, then crawled back in for the photo op once mom and dad were up.
