Tebow

It's hard not to like the guy.  Well, his inability to throw the ball downfield is one reason.  But no doubt, he is a winner.  He has intangibles that cannot be taught, and he seems like an all-around good guy.  I don't think his Christianity is that off-putting.  He certainly doesn't hide it -- he actually champions it.  Isn't that better than most players, who champion themselves, or glorified ideals of themselves.  In our culture of "self," that may be Tebow's greatest sin:  putting others, most importantly God, before himself.

This article captures a similar sentiment, noting that it's sad for our culture when someone like Tebow is considered "controversial."

Dinner with Gerry

Cousin Gerry from Long Island, NY, visited Phoenix for his 80th birthday this past weekend.  We took him out for dinner, then ice cream at Mary Coyle.

Friday Night Parties

Friday night was the annual X-mas Party for my work, this year again at the Biltmore.  Bobbins wasn't feeling well and wasn't her usual social and let's-dance self.  The food was great, as usual, especially this dessert.

Some of my good friends from the office:  TA, RK, Jimmy, me.  We all started together in September 2004.

Famous stained glass.  We were supposed to do a couple shot here but Bobbins didn't like the light.

The girls had their own party of hot chocolate w/ marshmallows, with their babysitter, my colleague MH.

Yoga Dance

Mom's away, just Dad at home, and the girls go wild!

How do they have such energy?  Must be nice.  They pretty much just eat, sleep, and play all day.  Must be really nice.
