CO River Heritage Greenway Park and Trails

Monday, Boxing Day, we checked out this new park and trails over in Laughlin, just north of the bridge.  They've spent a lot of money on it, and it's great.  We enjoyed walking along the river.  We even let the Dog run around, despite his bum leg. At the Pyramid Canyon Day Use area, at the foot of Davis Dam, we snapped some shots.

       

       

The Dog had a blast, but would pay for it the next couple days, mostly confined to his bed.  Still, it was nice to see him running, sniffing, swimming, etc., like our buddy of old.

Christmas Afternoon, Evening

After arriving in BHC, we opened some presents with Grandma, Grandpa, AK, and Uncle Zach, then ate a delicious turkey dinner.

       

          

         

Xmas Eve, Morn

We were a tad late (4:52pm instead of the 4:40pm I hoped for) to the 4pm Xmas Eve Mass, but Bobbins talked some people in the very front row into scooting over to make two places for her and I, with the girls in our laps.  It was a childrens Mass, and the girls were pretty good, thankfully.  Later we had Bobbins' parents & brother and our friends Featha and B over for a great dinner prepared by Bobbins' mom.  We let the girls open their presents from their grandparents and Featha & B.

       

MM awoke at about the usual time (7am) Xmas morning and remembered that it was Jesus's birthday, which she had been anxiously awaiting.  We had to wake JoJo up to start opening presents.  But first, we sang happy b-day to Jesus.

New Windows

Last month we had new triple-pane windows installed in the house.  The house is much quieter and warmer now.  A couple shots of the steel frame windows. (Girls' room on the left, carport window on the right.)

One of the workers hurt his foot and the install didn't go perfectly.  The hurt guy returned and they finished about 7pm at night.  As a result, the quality of the work suffered.  To the company's credit, they are sending someone out to make the repairs.
