Rainy Day
With three straight days of rain (in AZ!), the girls have been stuck inside. They and mom are resourceful.

Pink Nursery
Finally got a chance, albeit a small one, to re-pay Featha for all the help he's given us on our house, even if it was mostly in loaning tools. His mom came into town and they converted B's old office into a nursery. There is no doubt it's going to be a girl as it's the pinkest, girliest room ever. Check out the pic's on FB.
The girls inspected the room beforehand.
Below, we run a chalk line all the wall for the chair rail.

Tebow
It's hard not to like the guy. Well, his inability to throw the ball downfield is one reason. But no doubt, he is a winner. He has intangibles that cannot be taught, and he seems like an all-around good guy. I don't think his Christianity is that off-putting. He certainly doesn't hide it -- he actually champions it. Isn't that better than most players, who champion themselves, or glorified ideals of themselves. In our culture of "self," that may be Tebow's greatest sin: putting others, most importantly God, before himself.
This article captures a similar sentiment, noting that it's sad for our culture when someone like Tebow is considered "controversial."

Dinner with Gerry
Cousin Gerry from Long Island, NY, visited Phoenix for his 80th birthday this past weekend. We took him out for dinner, then ice cream at Mary Coyle.
