Baptism
The main reason for our visit was to be the godparents of our friends' new baby boy, at Holy Rosary Church in downtown Portland. It's a traditional, beautiful, restored 19th-century church run by the Dominicans. It's also where our friends got married.

The church Jeremy and I went to in Portland was anything but traditional! It was the single most strange church experience of my life.
