Bobbins found one of these online, from someone associated to St. Mary's, and decided to get it. They're not cheap but they do produce a lot of greens for you, fresh & organic. We've had some great lettuce & kale. The green beans have been delicious, although too small in number. We did a watermelon. It is fun to watch the produce grow.
Bobbins custom sewed a "magazine" for the boys' nerf bullets.
With Julia here, Bobbins has had time to sew again. She is making a quilt for Julia to take home to Brazil. Julia is helping, of course.
This was actually for the school's production of Macbeth, and this was Lady Macbeth's dress. Bobbins put it together nicely, and she looked quite good in it herself.
Finally got Bobbins' sewing room all set-up. It's like a Michael's and Joann's in one in there! She wanted to re-cover the pillows for the couch in the TV room, so she finally got to use her space on Tuesday.
For our annual camping trip later in Oct.
Our friends let Bobbins borrow their juicer, and she's been trying it out for healthy and tasty ways to get all her veggies. Here's one of her first concoctions. She went strong at first but hasn't been with it as much lately. Novelty wearing off.
Bobbins made some great new nightgowns for the girls the other night. Thankfully they appreciated her hard work.
They broke them in by doing ballet. Why not?

That is a dress Bobbins wore as a girl, and Bobbins made JoJo's blue dress. She also wore a dress she made herself.
Bobbins had the last of her cake decorating classes this week. Another feather in her creative cap.
For their trip to CA, Bobbins made the girls custom little beds with built-in pillows and blankets.
Bobbins made this dress for herself recently out of one the curtains in our bedroom, which she had also made several years ago.
What a smoking lady, and talented!
We fished out the old pram from the attic to sell. The girls got some last playing in it.
Some kid (possibly down the street) left an old, beat-up Razor scooter on the curb near our house. Bobbins and I cleaned it up and made it new again for MM. Even though she hasn't mastered riding it, she seems to enjoy it.
