60 on St. Pat's

One of our mentor couples in Marriage Encounter, Jim & Elaine, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on 17 March. What an achievement! That's Elaine in the dress with Mary, Bobbins, and Cori feting her with kisses.

WWME Epiphany Party

We had our annual WWME Epiphany party at our friends Jer & Cori's house. This year the kids put on a little nativity play. Bobbins and I have enough to fill out the cast ourselves. Jer was sport enough to be the donkey Mary (JoJo) rode on, led by Joseph (Owen). Baby Jacky was you know who, and didn't fuss too much.

Enrichment Weekend

We talked Nana T and Poppy into watching our kids from Friday night to Sunday afternoon so we could go to a worldwide marriage encounter (WWME) enrichment weekend in southern California. We left after work and got caught in an accident on I-10 and didn't arrive until after midnight. Thankfully the couple we stayed with was accommodating. He was a retired Air Force lawyer, and they had six adult kids. We had a great time staying with them.

The weekend was good and a nice time away for us. On Saturday night they had a DJ and a ton of wine, along with very tasty meals all day. Bobbins of course had to make use of the photo station. Her and Mary couldn't resist a duo shot (the two of them are catalytic artists, two peas in a pod).

Owen got to go work on the New Build with Papa all day Saturday. The kids and most importantly Nana & Poppy survived.
