Flat Iron

Friday, Uncle Jack and I met Zach in Apache Jct to hike up Siphon Draw to the Flat Iron in the Superstition Mtns. We had done this several times, which we argued/reminisced about on the way up. Uncle Jack and I did it in 2001 and Zach and I in 2007. On the way home in '07 I called Bobbins for the first time on the telephone while Zach and I were on our way to meet Uncle Jack & Shellie for dinner. At any rate, we made it to the Flat Iron and on up to the summit nearby for the gorgeous views into the Wilderness.
