GZ Mosque

Charles Krauthammer's Sunday column is the best commentary I've seen.  Very even-handed and on-the-mark, as usual for him.  One of my buddies from work had the great idea of starting a "Richard the Lionhearted Center for Dialogue" next door to this Cordoba deal.  One thing I haven't seen much on is the significance of the Cordoba name.  It's been touted as a reference to a time and place (medieval Spain) of understanding and respect between Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.  Maybe if you were a Muslim.  Let's not forget that Cordoba was under Islamic rule then, with Sharia law and taxes for non-Muslims.  Hardly a model of tolerance.
