Labor Day Weekend at Cabin: Arrival

Last weekend for the holiday we went up north to get away and enjoy the cool weather at Bobbins' family's cabin.  A couple from church and their two kids joined us.

Friday night we got our game on.

For the most part, all of the furniture in the cabin (which is a true log cabin, see the background) is antique-y or historical, including the high chair.

This was breakfast Saturday morning.

We stayed upstairs in the loft, which has its own fireplace and bathroom.  MM figured out how to climb the stairs and would crawl up there to play by herself and look down at all of us.  Bobbins helped her dad put these black railings in, with this situation in mind: they're close enough so that a baby's head won't fit through.
