Apple Picking

Saturday morning we drove north of Wickenburg to

As the signs said, there really was an orchard in the middle of the desert, in a large creek basin 4 miles to the east of Highway 93.  It was a fun dirt road ride down there, which MM helped navigate.

They helpfully provide a wheelbarrow, box, and picker on a long stick.

MM couldn't resist and started eating right away.  They were very tasty right off the tree.

It took Bobbins a bit to get the hang of it. ...

We ate lunch at some picnic tables before heading home.

The loot -- 16lbs of apples for $16

  1. Looks like it was fun. I am anxious to hear more about it. I wish we could have gone and we hadn't all pooped out on our end.
