the sharpest crayon in the box

In September I was up on my game and started making the girls Halloween costumes. Thank goodness because October 31st came all too quickly. 

On Saturday our neighborhood had a little shindig down the street, the local business' put on a trunk or treat, so this was our actual first trick or treat. Marcelly was able to pick up on the candy aspect real quick which was reassurance that she was indeed our child. Her first piece of candy was placed in her bag and immediately she pulled it out saying "nummy nummy nummy" meaning open. So here after it was hard to get her bag full as she kept wanting to eat all that was given to her. She ended up sitting down in the lot and basically putting her head in the bag spilling the candy out over her. By the end of the first night she was getting the hang of opening her bag and saying thank you.

                                                        

On actual Halloween we took a trip over to our friends house and ate dinner and tricker treated in their neighborhood. Which was very full of children and pumpkins. We had a great time! Marcelly was quite a hit in her crayon costume. Although I am not sure which wow'd people more her crayon or her Victoria's secret candy collecting bag. It matched so I thought it was perfect not really thinking it was any big deal, it WAS!
